"The timing of the summit is pivotal as it kicks starts National Meetings Week, where the message ‘Keep Britain Talking' has never had so much meaning for our industry. With the run up to the Olympics it is imperative that our industry presents a robust and unified front to create a positive legacy and have the means to speak with one voice," said Confex Group portfolio director Duncan Reid.
"Through the summit we hope that we will be able to pool the resources of our many associations for the benefit of all, and be able to initially feedback some of the advice at Event UK on the following Tuesday and Wednesday."
The first E-20 meeting of event industry thought-leaders took place at the (21 May).
