Aspire was set up seven years ago by Sean Valentine and Steven Saunders, with catering operations including seven British Grand Prix and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit in 2009. It is also the on-site caterer for venues including Ragley Hall and Harewood House.
The purchase of London-based business Inn or Out and Portfolio Events, located in Northampton, will result in Aspire's infrastructure stretching from Leeds to London, with newly-established headquarters in Bermondsey, London.
Both acquired companies are listed caterers for sites including Althorp House in Northamptonshire and Banqueting House in London.
Following the acquisitions, Steven Saunders has left the business, with Sean Valentine continuing as sole owner and chief executive.
Saunders is taking up the role of chief executive of Silverstone Hospitality to provide fixed site catering for the circuit. The senior teams in both acquired businesses will remain in place, enabling each individual brand to grow and develop within the wider structure.
