Arts Council England tasks roster to look at brand strategy

LONDON - Arts Council England has created a roster of 16 agencies to address a re-positioning of the brand, emphasising 'more arts, less council.' The roster covers the disciplines of brand development and marketing communications.

Five agencies have been selected to work on brand strategy projects, including GBH in London and 23 Red in Bristol, Nottingham and London. Eleven agencies were selected to work on marketing and brand communication projects, including London based Blast, Marc & Anna and 999 Design.

In the long run the Council hope that a new strategy will engage a wider public audience.

The appointment of the agencies follows a pitch process which was in accordance with EU regulations.
