IFO (Identified Flying Object) will be illuminated in an array of colours at night and will come to rest on the ground by day, hosting seminars, cafes, gardens and performances.

Designed by French artist and architect Jacques Rival and manufactured by Doublet it forms part of Relay, a nine-year arts programme which aims to turn the area into a destination for discovering international contemporary art.

It will remain in place until November 2013.
