The Army launches online careers drive

The Army is expanding its online recruitment drive this week by launching the UK’s first live, online careers service. From May 24, would-be recruits with internet access can conduct a real-time dialogue with soldiers and officers about Army careers. The Army expects the update to the web site (www.army.mod.uk) to further boost traffic. At present, nearly 60% of information requests about Army careers come through the web site. The online development comes as the Army gears up for the next stage of its advertising recruitment drive, through Saatchi & Saatchi, which breaks next month. The web site was designed by Cmi.
