According to figures from the Audit Bureau of Circulations, the Norwich-based Eastern Daily Press had an average daily circulation of 59,389 between 5 July and 2 January, up 0.4% year on year and up 0.4% period on period.
The Evening News, also based in Norwich, had an average daily circulation of 18,923 in the last six months of 2010, up 0.5% year on year and up 2.1% period on period.
Adrian Jeakings, chief executive of Archant, said: "Last year, I issued a challenge to our senior managers to halt the decline in newspaper circulation and get them growing again. This is against steady falls for much of the industry in the last few years.
"Two of our daily papers grew their circulation in the second half of 2010. Also, more than half of our weekly titles were showing year-on-year growth. These results are extraordinary – a remarkable performance."
The Dundee Evening Telegraph, published by Beano-owner DC Thomson, had an average daily circulation of 23,331, up 3.4% year on year and 0.3% period on period.
The biggest daily regional paper by circulation is the Wolverhampton-based Express & Star, owned by the Midland News Association, with an average daily circulation of 116,992, down 2.8% year on year and down 4.2% period on period.
The Manchester Evening News, bought by Trinity Mirror as part of GMG Regional Media in March last year, had an average daily circulation of 93,348, down 3.5% compared with the first half of 2010.
Year-on-year comparisons were not available for the MEN because GMG pulled the newspaper from ABC in 2009 over concerns about its ability to reflect the newspaper's unusual distribution (copies are given away free on Thursdays and Fridays).

"This is the result of our ongoing circulation development plan and numerous editorial enhancements. We remain focused on serving our advertisers by delivering valuable audiences across our print titles, companion websites and mobile platforms."
Trinity Mirror's Liverpool Echo, the third-biggest daily regional paper by circulation, had an average circulation of 87,198 during the period, down 1.5% year on year and down 2.2% period on period.
Earlier this month, ABC extended its cross-platform certificate to regional publishers, allowing regional newspapers to include figures for their digital editions, alongside print circulation, in one certificate for the January 2011 to June 2011 period.
