The second Event 100 Club Live of the year will be held from 2pm - 5.30pm on Thursday 25 June at Earls Court as part of Excite!, and you can apply for a complimentary place.

The event will feature a number of interactive panel discussions with a variety of industry experts on pertinent topics. To ensure the audience are given the opportunity to have their say Crystal Interactive will provide its latest technology for the event.

Subjects will include 'Demystifying Sustainability', which will include a panel of Sam Wilson, Eco Events; Andrew Williams, Seventeen Events; Andy Lowe, Carbon Clear and Piers Kelly, Reed Exhibitions.

This seminar will look at issues including: What is the difference between being accredited and certified? Do you have to be either to produce sustainable events? Does it cost more to produce sustainable events? The panel will attempt to disprove myths and provide essential information on how to achieve sustainable events

The second seminar will look at what the 2012 games actually means for the event industry before, during and after the games? And how does the industry get involved using Competefor.com? The panel includes Liz Madden, ES Group and an expert from Competefor.com.

Focus for this discussion will be based how can venues, agencies and suppliers take advantage of this event? How does Competefor.com work? Can it be used for other government event projects? Is it a closed shop? What can event agencies and suppliers do during and after the games to take full advantage of their impact?

Finally 'Events mean business' is the title of campaign that Event magazine is set to launch, aiming to highlight the importance of the event industry and to prove that it delivers effective and tangible results to some of the world's biggest brands, and is more than just an excuse for people to have drinks and fun.

This panel will feature Will Mould, Slice, Sarah Jeffrey, Nike, Nathan Homan, The Rouge Partnership and Simon Hughes, COI.

Finally it will also mark the start of this year's voting process for the Event 100 Club.
