LONDON (Brand Republic) – Apple Computer is to lose Mitch Mandich, its senior vice-president of worldwide sales, on the heels of its recent warning that disappointing sales during September would mean lower-than-expected revenues for the quarter.
Mandich is to leave in December to spend more time with his family, according to Apple. It is not clear whether his departure is connected to the sales warning.
Mandich joined Apple in 1997, shortly after chief executive Steve Jobs returned to the company. At the time, the company was at a low point but Apple made a comeback with the launch of the iMac computer in 1998.
