The store is reopening tomorrow (15 October) at 10.00am. During the opening week, Apple is hosting a series of experiences, including live music in-store, artists sketching on iPad Pro, guided photo walks and more.

On Sunday (16 October), artist Chris Dent will 'capture the energy on Regent Street' using iPad Pro and Apple Pencil with music provided by singer-songwriter, Luch Stefano.

Next week, on 19 October, Apple is hosting a photo walk in Soho Square, exploring how to capture images in black and white with an iPhone or iPad. Attendees will learn techniques for using light, shadow, and texture when shooting architectural elements and the gardens, as well as being shown how to edit photos to bring out the drama and mood of images.

Apple is also working with graphic artist and illustrator Adrian Johnson on a live art session, to take place on 20 October at the store, and also hosting a session aimed at kids on 22 October, exploring coding with Sphero robots.

The store's interior will reflect Apple's latest design thinking, with a town square layout, including a central grand hall filled with trees surrounded by window displays that highlight the best in photography, music and more. The square’s theater, the Forum, will host daily entertainment and learning events.

Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of retail said: "We are delighted to be a part of Regent Street and excited to be again serving our community by offering a place to learn, to be inspired and entertained, where customers can get support from our staff and from each other."

Regent Street was Apple’s first store in Europe and has welcomed more than 60,000,000 visitors since 2004.
