Apple's short film by Oscar-winning director Michel Gondry was shot entirely on an iPhone 7 Plus.
The 10-minute film pays homage to French cinema and culture with the story of a girl’s tricycle that gets lost as a family leaves home for their summer holiday. After being separated from the family, the tricycle goes on an unbelievable journey through the French countryside populated by eccentric characters typical of Gondry’s work, which includes films such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. The iPhone 7 Plus was used to show off its features including 4K recording, slow-mo, time lapse and low light capabilities.
