LONDON (Brand Republic) - Global membership of AOL鈥檚 internet service has exceeded the 27m mark, with more than 70,000 new members joining on Christmas Day.
The company, which recently merged with Time Warner, said that the Christmas Day figures broke its single-day records, gaining 30% more new members than on Christmas Day 1999.
It also claimed that members are spending an average of more than 65 minutes a day on the service, and that 2m members use the service simultaneously during peak hours.
