Anderson and East to leave MGN amid management restructure

LONDON - Tim Anderson, head of marketing for Trinity Mirror's national arm Mirror Group Newspapers, and the division's circulation director, John East, are to leave the company as part of a restructure of their respective departments.

John Howard, group circulation manager of the Mirror, Sunday Mirror and The People, has been appointed to the new role of circulation director for the national division.

Reporting to Mark Hollinshead, managing director of Mirror Group Newspapers, Howard will have responsibility for the circulation management and development of the five national titles: the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, The People and Scottish titles, the Daily Record and Sunday Mail.

A further change sees Lorraine Fraser, currently sales and marketing director for the Daily Record and Sunday Mail, promoted to the new role of marketing director for the entire national division. She will also report to Hollinshead.

Both Anderson and East have been with the company for more than 10 years.
