
The womenswear collection will be based on Winehouse’s own 1950s-inspired style and will comprise 17 pieces, including polo shirts and skirts.
The brand has signed up Winehouse, who designed a capsule collection for fashion label PPQ last year, for four seasons.
Winehouse’s collection is not the first celebrity collaboration for Fred Perry. Tennis star Andy Murray helped design the tennis kit he wore at Wimbledon last June.
Though founded as a sports brand, the Fred Perry polo shirt, with its signature laurel logo, has been worn by everyone from mods to skinheads since the 1950s. Fred Perry celebrity fans include Paul Weller and Peter Doherty.
