AMV and Uncommon win Grands Prix at 2020 北京赛车pk10 Big Awards

AMV's '#Wombstories' wows judges, while Uncommon is named Agency of the Year.

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO picked up two of three Grands Prix at the 北京赛车pk10 Big Awards, with gongs for Best Idea and Best 北京赛车pk10 for its 鈥#Wombstories鈥 spot for Bodyform/Essity. Meanwhile, the Grand Prix for Agency of the Year went to Uncommon Creative Studio.

Along with the two Grands Prix, 鈥#Wombstories鈥 won Bigs in the Consumer Goods, Original Idea and Branded Content categories.聽

Uncommon picked up three Bigs along with its Agency of the Year accolade 鈥 one in the Retailers category with 鈥淓verything鈥檚 better on the beach鈥 for On the Beach and two for ITV 鈥淏ritain get talking鈥 in Print and Response to Covid-19: Best Reactive Idea.

Mother London and Adam & Eve/DDB both scooped three awards. Mother won in TV & Cinema, Consumer Goods and Best Use of an Influencer or Celebrity, all for Ikea 鈥淪ilence the critics鈥. Adam & Eve/DDB triumphed in the Services category for Highways England 鈥淏ikerTek鈥, for its work on Unilever鈥檚 Marmite in Consistent Creative Excellence, and creative duo Jeppe Vidstrup and Simone W盲rme were named Emerging Team of the Year.

BBC Creative was the other shop to pick up an Emerging Team of the Year gong for Shannon Cripps and Bethany Wood. The agency also won two other awards: 鈥淏BC iPlayer 鈥 wasted on some鈥 in Entertainment & Leisure and 鈥淒racula special build鈥 in Out of Home.聽

Agencies to land two Bigs were: Anomaly for Grenfell United 鈥#GoGreenforGrenfell鈥, which won in Original Idea and Social; St Luke鈥檚 for NHS 鈥淪tay home now鈥 in Best Idea from an Agency Initiative and Covid-19 Pro Bono 北京赛车pk10s; U-Studio/Oliver for PG Tips 鈥淪olidaritea鈥 in Best Idea for a Purpose and Best Reactive Idea; and Wonderhood Studios for the England national football team and Nike 鈥淎ll who follow鈥 in Entertainment & Leisure and Sponsorship.

Engine Creative won a Big for Born Free 鈥淐reature discomforts: life in lockdown鈥 in Creativity in Lockdown; Flying Object won for Twitter 鈥淰isit #ScottishTwitter鈥 in Integrated; Iris for Samsung KX 鈥淰ertical gig鈥 in Experiential; M&C Saatchi for Surfers Against Sewage 鈥淯ndiscovered creatures鈥 in Radio; Publicis.Poke for Renault 鈥淭he French exchange鈥 in Automotive; The & Partnership London for the Royal National Institute of Blind People 鈥淭he see differently collection鈥 in Charity; and Who Wot Why for Spotify 鈥淟isten like you used to鈥 in Entertainment & Leisure.

There was a special prize chosen by students from Brixton Finishing School. The Students Choice Award went to 鈥淭uesday鈥 by Havas London for the Department for Education.

The awards were handed out in a virtual ceremony and the winners were chosen by a panel of judges co-chaired by Mother London partner Ana Balarin and Adam & Eve/DDB chief creative officer Rick Brim.
