The National Stadium at Wembley has been chosen to host a debut fixture of the USA鈥檚 National Football League, expected to attract more than 10,000 Americans to the capital.
The game between the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins will take place on 28 October and, according to Visit London, more are planned for 2009 and 2011.
Visit London chief executive James Bidwell said: 鈥淭his game is the first of its kind to be played outside the Americas and will undoubtedly be an incentive for fans to experience our fantastic city.鈥
