London Coffee Festival is set to take place this week, and a number of brands will be activating at the event. Soy brand Alpro will stage a 'Moove Over' activation, giving guests an exclusive taste of its Professionals range which is due for an official launch in July. The brand will recruit coffee masters from the festival, as well as Dutch Barista Championship finalist Merijn Gijsbers, to create coffees using plant-based beverages for visitors to test. Drinks will include an Alpro Soya Original Cappuccino, Coconut Hot Chocolate and an Iced Chai Latte.
Water filter brand Brita recognises that H20 makes up 98% of a cup of black coffee, and wanted its London Coffee Festival activation to reflect that fact. The brand will be joined by founding partner and director of Old Spike Roastery, Rob Dunne, who will be taking guests through an exploration of coffee and water. Visitors will discover how water affects the taste flavour, aroma and appearance of coffee, and will leave knowing what needs to happen to the water to make that perfect cup every time.
UCC Coffee will be staging an immersive experience, which will take guests on a journey of coffee - from its origin through to the finished product in the cup. Visitors will witness live roasting and cupping of coffee in a hands-on manner, and will leave with a bag of specialty grade coffee roasted to individual preference.
