Turner, who will in 2016/17, has recently launched new agency Eight PR & Marketing, where he is managing director.
He has been a member of ISES for over 10 years, and has adopted a number of vice president roles within the organisation durnig that time.
Turner said: "As a long-standing member of the association this is an incredible privilege and a big responsibility; following in the footsteps of some really brilliant people.
"The positioning of the association right now as a creative powerhouse is ideal and I’m looking forward to supporting the #Mornifesto."
Jackson added: "Experience in the communications industry is going to be invaluable in leading ISES next year. The event industry is going through a good deal of change but at heart we will always be creative communicators. Ali's understanding of that will allow ISES to continue its growth as we deliver more value for members and sponsors."
Following on from this announcement, the ISES UK board is now complete.
