Alan Bishop quits COI

LONDON - Alan Bishop, chief executive of the COI, is leaving to become chief executive of London's Southbank Centre.

Alan Bishop quits COI

Bishop, who has held his post at the COI for five years, will remain until January to ensure a smooth transition to his yet-to-be-appointed successor.

He replaces Michael Lynch at the Southbank, taking responsibility for the 21-acre cultural centre, which comprises the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and The Hayward.

Bishop said: ‘I am passionate about taking on this important role at London's and the world's leading art venue.'
