Tim Prince from Air Tattoo Event Services said: "Air displays are really popular in the UK - statistics show that they are the second largest outdoor spectator sport - second only to football. The benefit of including aircraft in an event is immense – they can help generate pre-event publicity and a buzz, and then wow guests or visitors on the day, giving them something extra special that they will remember and talk about for months to come."
Tim will be presenting a session entitled ‘Creating a spectacle: Ideas for your outdoor events’ at Event UK at 1.30pm on Tuesday 21st September in the Organising and Logistics Theatre.
The aviation spectacle provided by ATES could include legendary warbirds such as Spitfire or Hurricane, classic jets such as Hunters, Jet Provosts or Gnats, daring wing walkers, synchronised aerobatic display teams, single aerobatic display aircraft, helicopters, modern military aircraft, large model displays, gliders, hot air balloons and static aircraft.
Private, corporate or large public events can all be enhanced by using aircraft. With 40 years of aviation event management experience, Air Tattoo Event Services can source aircraft and manage all the logistics and regulatory requirements for an event - ensuring that the flypast or flying display delivers maximum impact without the stress.
The team behind ATES has been in the air show business since 1971 and in addition to establishing the Royal International Air Tattoo as the world’s largest military airshow they have organised and assisted a multitude of successful flying displays and flypasts including:
- TVS Airshow South – Bournemouth Airport - 4 years
