
The two brands are launching an in-store campaign tomorrow (1 July) targeting families and adults, by distributing branded Air France postcards across 120 Café Rouge cafes and restaurants in the UK.
Bastille Day, the French national holiday, is celebrated on 14 July every year.
The promotional activity runs throughout July.
The Bastille-themed postcards direct consumers to the Air France website to enter a competition to win a family trip to Paris.
Further promotional activity offers consumers a free bottle of wine at the restaurants when purchasing online flights at .
Verane Brissaud, marketing communications manager, Air France, KLM in the UK and Ireland, said: "Bastille Day in July kicks off a summer of top festivals and fêtes throughout Paris this summer, so now is the time to reaffirm our position as the most convenient way to travel to the French capital and encourage consumers to rediscover the brand and product.
"As such, we are expanding our marketing activity to encompass a premium tie-up with the UK’s most powerful French restaurant and café brand. Café Rouge restaurants provide us with access to more than five million ABC1 adults and families on the high street."
In May, the airline partnered with Cinémoi, the French film and lifestyle TV channel, to promote routes between the south of France and the UK, while broadcasting the Cannes Film Festival in Britain.
