
As part of its AIF seminars series, budgeting, current financial technology and cashflow management will be among the topics explored during the one-day event on 12 November at London's Minster Exchange.
The not-for-profit trade body, which represents independent music festivals in the UK and Ireland, also revealed crowd funding, cost-effective ticket transactions and payment systems, data capture, network infrastructure, security and cash movement are set to be discussed on the day.
Peppermint Bars founder Alex Brooke will be looking at forecasting and using data to budget, as well as boost supplier relationships, while Shambala Festival's director Jon Walsh and Hebridean Celtic Festival financial director Martin Jones will tackle issues around cashflow and cloud accounting during the AIF event.
Gary Pitt of sponsorship specialist Get in Bed, and Julie Payne from arts and creative enterprise The Hub will be reviewing crowd funding, sponsorship and alternative income streams.
