Agenda21 gets the nod for Epson push

Independent digital agency Agenda21 has picked up the pan-European digital media account for printer specialist Epson, following a competitive pitch.

The agency will coordinate online ad activity designed to increase Epson's e-commerce sales in nine European markets, including France, Germany and the UK.

Agenda21 will handle paid and natural search spend, plus affiliate marketing and activity on price comparison sites. The activity will initially concentrate on selling print cartridges online, but will develop to also promote hardware sales.

In the first campaign to go live, Agenda21 is targeting Epson users through a behavioural campaign, which serves printer owners with an ad when their computer warns them that their ink is low.

Drive PM and Advertising.com have been lined up to run the ads across their networks.
