Affiliate marketer Netklix.com taps Hill & Knowlton

LONDON - Emerging affiliate marketing network Netklix.com has appointed Hill & Knowlton to handle all of its UK PR activity in an effort to raise awareness of its innovative business model.

manages the relationship between online advertisers and publishers, tracking traffic from the publisher's site to the advertiser's and managing any commission payments due.

Netklix.com claims that, unlike its competitors, it charges a low-cost, fixed-rate fee instead of a percentage, which it says benefits the advertiser and the publisher by delivering more control and increased return on investment.

Andrew Pike, CEO of Netklix.com, said: "Netklix.com is a young company operating in a diverse and constantly changing marketplace. We are confident that the Consumer Tech team at H&K and their aggressive approach to media relations will enable us to successfully reach key audiences, enabling us to grow both our advertiser and publisher rosters."

The account is being led by board director Sam Clark from H&K's Consumer Tech team.
