Advertising.com to add new service

Advertising.com UK has partnered with behavioural targeting specialist Revenue Science, in a deal that will enable advertisers to use behavioural targeting across its network.

Advertisers will be able to buy audience segments from Revenue Science's publisher base, from sites like Guardian Unlimited, and then use the same behavioural targeting techniques across the Advertising.com network. In the United States this is commonly known as network inventory extension.

The Advertising.com network has a reach of nearly 25 million unique users, according to the company.

Tristan Leaver, Head of business development at Guardian Unlimited, said: "More and more advertisers are including behavioural targeting as part of their strategy. This is especially true in high-value categories where we regularly sell out of targeted impressions."

He added: "The network extension programme eliminates that limitation by allowing our advertisers to reach their targeted Guardian Unlimited audiences on our own site, and across the Advertising.com network."
