- The Advertising Association has launched a new Parliamentary newsletter as the latest phase part of the advertising industry's push to win over sceptics.

The monthly bulletin, called 'Parliamentary Briefing', is being published following research among MPs and peers demonstrated a clear demand for a regular summary of the legislative and regulatory issues facing the advertising and communications business in the UK.

Sara Price, head of Public Affairs at the AA, said: "The newsletter spearheads the AA's programme of Parliamentary contact, with which we aim to encourage debate and start to overcome some of the deep seated misunderstandings that persist about our industry and its regulation."

It is planned that each issue of the newsletter will provide a digest of current UK and European leglislative and regulatory issues, as well as details about forthcoming AA events.
