Adlift promotes Simpsons the Movie

LONDON - An unusual form of outdoor advertising is being adopted to seed the launch of "Simpsons the Movie" - 20th Century Fox's film of the popular cartoon.

Limited Space is using its range of shopping centre lifts to plug the film, placing giant images of the characters on the glass elevators that make up its Adlift Panoramic portfolio.

Adlift sites are strategically located full size lift door ads that deliver high dwell time for captive audiences.

Giant vinyl banners are applied to the glass surrounds of the panoramic sites plus vinyl graphics on the backs of the glass lifts.

The impact is accentuated by the movement of the lift - and image - which can be seen from all levels of the mall as the lifts move between floors.

The campaign was planned and bought by Gen Outdoor Media Intelligence and was the sole advertising format implemented in the UK ahead of more mainstream advertising nearer the film's release in the summer.
