Athletes get back on the horse following the postponement of this year's Olympics.

Featuring Team USA swimmers Katie Ledecky and Mckenzie Coan, Bahamian runner Shaunae Miller-Uibo and Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas, the ad shows athletes as they discuss their disappointment after hearing the 2020 Olympics were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While the future of many Olympians and Paralympians hung in the balance, innovative athletes endeavoured to "rewrite the story" through finding new ways to practice. Looking forward to 2021, an athlete remarks: "When you’ve spent a lifetime waiting for this moment, what’s one more year?"

The work was created by Simon Candy and directed by Sarah Chatfield through Station Films and Beast.

In April, Adidas launched a campaign looking forward to the return of sport during Covid-19.
