Adidas communications director quits

- Adidas's head of communications, Andy Towne, has left the company to join former Adidas UK managing director, Bob McCulloch, at the outdoor clothing brand Helly Hansen.

- Adidas's head of communications, Andy Towne, has left the company to join former Adidas UK managing director, Bob McCulloch, at the outdoor clothing brand Helly Hansen.

Towne is the latest of several senior Adidas staff to follow McCulloch. He will take up the role of vice president of communications at Helly Hansen and will be responsible for developing the brand's image globally.

He leaves Adidas after three years. He has been involved in a number of high profile ad campaigns, which have featured the likes of boxer Prince Naseem and England and Manchester United footballer David Beckham.
