Mills has been out of the media business since he left Carlton Screen Advertising last year after it was sold and rebranded as DCM, a joint venture between Odeon Cinemas and Cineworld group, who completed the purchase of CSA from ITV for £500,000 in July 2008.

Lace joined Admedia in June last year and was charged with doubling the size of the business in three years. He left the outdoor firm to set up Lace and Campbell last month.

Mills starts with Admedia next month, as part of an ongoing expansion at the firm as it looks to expand its experiential and washroom business. He will report to chief executive Philip Vecht.

Stephen Connor, owner and founder of fitting room poster firm Fitting Exposure, was hired as head of experiential marketing at Admedia in February.
