PHD triumphed in the media category after defending £103m-worth of business in the past year. The agency also secured Kraft Foods' consolidated £50m media planning and buying account, following its takeover of Cadbury.
Dare was named top digital agency for the second year in a row, while Billington Cartmell captured the sales prom-otion title for the third consecutive year.
Elsewhere, sponsorship agency MEC Access and customer publisher Fitzgerald Shurey Tarbuck were first-time winners in their categories.
The Partners scooped Branding Agency of the Year for its 'strong creative work and a sound approach to sustainability', while Frank PR took the PR prize.
The awards, now in their 10th year, incorporated the views of The Marketing Society's brand-side business leader members for the first time.
