Ad2One hired to sell ads on Pogo site

Games giant Electronic Arts has signed up digital ad agency Ad2One to sell ads on its community games site, Pogo.co.uk.

Ad2One will sell a range of inventory, including in-game ads, as EA looks to ramp up its revenue from ad spend.

Pogo.co.uk has a different demographic from most gaming sites, according to online measurement firm comScore.

Women account for 55% of Pogo.co.uk's 1.3 million monthly unique users, who spend an average of 38 minutes a day on the site, according to comScore research.

As well as having a UK audience of 1.3 million, the site achieves worldwide figures of 13 million unique users a month and offers 80 free games, including puzzle and word games. The site hosts a community of games fans and is keen to extend the range of advertising currently on offer.
