Ad Week Europe to move to Picturehouse Central

Advertising Week Europe will take place at Picturehouse Central in Piccadilly this year, moving from Bafta after three years because it needs 'breathing room'.

The event, which is set to take place between 18 and 22 April, will also make use of Ronnie Scotts and Fortnum & Mason once again.

Other venues include Southwark Cathedral for the 2016 opening gala and Lambeth Palace and Mansion House for evening events.

Matt Scheckner, the chief executive at Advertising Week Europe, said: "Bafta was where we began and the partnership with this great institution and the neighbouring St. James’s Church, Piccadilly was a fantastic home from our first three years.

"Looking to the future and the needs of our partners and delegates, we simply needed breathing room.

"Picturehouse appeared almost magically at just the right time in just the right location and we are thrilled to stay in the same Piccadilly Circus area and be able to do much more for our constituents."
