Acxiom builds a centre for data

Acxiom has opened a new technology centre in Wakefield, which has been purpose-built to support the volume of data that has come with its acquisition of data firms Claritas and Consodata.

The White Rose Technology Centre stores more than 17 terabytes of data and will use Acxiom's Customer Information Infrastructure technology to enable 'Grid Computing' - this links data fields to find a single customer view more quickly.
