The figure was announced at a topping-out ceremony on 25 April to mark the completion of the 拢146m development. The venue's first duty will be to launch the city's status as the European Capital of Culture with an opening ceremony at the start of next year. Other events to be held at the venue include the British Chambers of Commerce conference in April and the Royal College of Nursing conference next October.
ACC Liverpool chief executive Bob Prattey said: "From pop concerts and sporting events to major conferences and exhibitions, ACC Liverpool will be a hive of activity during its first year. The 83 separate organisations that have booked with us is a fantastic vote of confidence for Liverpool."
The topping-out ceremony featured an indoor fireworks display and a performance from a samba band. Guests were also given a sneak preview of the facilities, which include a 10,600-seat arena and 1,350-seat convention centre - providing a total exhibition space of 7,000sqm.
In-house caterer Heathcotes Outside, which is run by chef Paul Heathcote, provided the food.
