Absolut has released a powerful poster campaign by BBH London to highlight the fact that it is still illegal to engage in same-sex activity in 72 countries worldwide.

Launched on the 50th anniversary of the amendment of the Sexual Offences Act – the act of Parliament that saw homosexuality decriminalised in England and Wales – the poster series features individuals from many of those countries sharing a same-sex kiss to celebrate their freedom of expression. 

The ads follow Absolut’s "Equal love" film from earlier this month, which showed diverse people taking part in a choreographed kissathon to mark the brand’s long-standing support of LGBT rights.
