Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO wins £5m Onken account

LONDON - Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO has scooped the £5m Onken Dairy account following a four way pitch.

The agency won the business following a four-way shoot-out against Delany Lund Knox Warren & Partners, VCCP and Propaganda.

The pitch, which was kicked off in October, was handled by the AAR. South, the incumbent agency, was not involved in the process.

AMV has now been briefed with creating a through-the-line campaign to relaunch the brand in the UK.

In April 2005, Onken handed Dare its online advertising account following a five-way pitch that included Albion, Meme Digital, Grand Union and Liquorice.
