Abacus appoints Adler's Knight for sales director role

LONDON – Direct marketing data and research firm Abacus has hired Andrew Knight as its UK sales director.

Knight joins from Adler Manufacturing, where he held the same role, and will be responsible for sales management and client account management with Abacus.

In addition to Knight's appointment, Abacus, a division of DoubleClick, has also hired former Wegener Direct Marketing account director Tony Munday as a senior account director with the client services team.

Abacus UK managing director Andy McDermott said: "These new appointments bring a wealth of experience, which will provide Abacus with the necessary support to continue building our business."
