Aardman has appointed Geoff Howe Independent to promote its
animated characters, with an initial focus on the multi-award winning
Wallace and Gromit.
Aardman head of marketing and licensing Sean Clarke said SP will be at
the core of the marketing. "The activity will ultimately be broader than
this but promotion is at the centre of it," he added.
Part of the first stage is to create a campaign around Wallace and
Gromit.
However, the mechanics of the marketing work are being kept under
wraps.
