First airing tomorrow, the chart show will raise the profile of 3's music downloads service, which it has already promoted through a similar idea on Emap's Kiss radio stations.
Graeme Oxby, marketing director of 3, said: "Our relationship with Emap Radio has been hugely successful and we see this as a natural next step."
The chart show will run in one- and two-hour formats across Emap's six music TV channels, including Kiss, Kerrang!, Magic and The Hits.
Emap said the deal arose out of collaboration between its radio and TV advertising teams.
Lucy Darby, sponsorship director of Emap Radio, said: "This deal marks a significant development in the thinking behind multimedia deals."
Last week, Emap launched its first mobile TV channel, FHM, which is so far available on the 3, Orange and Vodafone networks.
