195 Piccadilly is set to save the Screen Nation Film and TV Awards after the event was to be scrapped following the withdrawal of a backer.
The awards, commonly called the "Black Baftas", looked in dire straits when a major financier had to pull-out. They reward black talent within the film industry.
But 195 Piccadilly, Bafta's home, stepped in, and will stage the awards to cut costs.
