This year Newcastle Pride 2014 is being extended from one to three days, taking place between 18 and 20 July, and is expected to attract up to 65,000 visitors at Newcastle’s Town Moor and Times Square.
The event, organised by Northern Pride, will include a parade, five kilometre run and live entertainment.
Gary Hutchinson, commercial director of SAFC and 1879 Events Management, said: "We are delighted to be working with the team from Northern Pride for the next three years.
"Newcastle Pride is a fantastic festival and something that we are hugely proud to be associated with, our involvement is not just about delivering a commercial service, it is about showing support for an event that celebrates and triumphs inclusivity, a core value that we embrace wholeheartedly."
Mark Nichols, chair of Northern Pride, added: "We worked with 1879 Events Management in both 2012 and 2013 and are delighted to be continuing that relationship in 2014 and beyond."
1879 Events Management was established in 2012 and also manages catering and events at the Stadium of Light - SAFC’s football ground - and the National Glass Centre.
