18 Feet & Rising worked on Cuprinol, Polycell and Hammerite. The marketing for those brands has been folded into other roster shops after a "rationalisation" by the Dutch multinational.

AnalogFolk, AkzoNobel’s UK digital agency, and Bartle Bogle Hegarty, which looks after Dulux, are expected to gain from the restructure.

AkzoNobel issued a statement through 18 Feet & Rising, which read: "To reduce complexity within the marketing function of AkzoNobel Decorative Paints UK, we are rationalising the number of agencies we work with.

"We are aligning the agencies who work on strategic communications planning and development across all of our brands."
