141 Red appoints Stickland as client services director

LONDON - 141 Red, the new retail environment design division of 141 Worldwide UK, is strengthening its team with the appointment of Alan Stickland as project and client services director.

Stickland joins 141 from sister WPP Group design agency Fitch, where he held the position of client manager having joined the company in 2000.

There he was responsible for branded environment and merchandising programmes for clients such as British American Tobacco, Schiphol Airport, Procter & Gamble and Microsoft.

Stickland joins a team headed up by Simon Smith, 141 Red creative director, where he will manage merchandising, product placement, price promotion, purchase and brand/product experience programmes.

Stickland was previously assistant design manager at the Design Council and project manager at Fraser Randall Productions and at the Exhibition Design Project Management company.

Steve Harding, 141 Worldwide CEO, said: "Alan is an outstanding retail environment professional. He combines the ability to plan strategically to ensure that the campaigns he delivers will enable his clients to reach their business objectives with solid execution in graphic, digital, product and environmental design."
